Something for Families
There is a playground and playing fields in Garries park in the centre of the village.
A tour of the ice cream factory at Cream 'O Galloway can be great fun (and there's loads of other family activities like nature trails, an adventure playground and indoor play areas there too!).
A treasure hunt is a really fun way for families to explore the village. Purchase a Treasure Trails pack online or from the Franca Bruno shop on the High Street. The walking route is just under 2 miles and will take around 1½ hours to complete.

You can get close to some interesting animals at the Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park in Kirkubright.
